DevLens is a professional consultancy and coaching service provider. We use a ‘Development Lens’ to provide holistic thinking and tailored solutions to our clients to drive change towards sustainable development, and build effective and successful organisations and individuals.  For organisations, we provide research studies, evaluations, baseline and endline studies, program design, proposal development, modules development, guidelines and policy briefs, capacity building, leadership training and organisation development consultancy services.
Through individual and group Executive Coaching services, we equip young managers with the skills required to be successful in their new role for desired impact.  Our leadership coaching provides a sounding board to leaders to test new ideas and receive honest feedback.
Through Life Coaching services,  we act as friends to individuals feeling stuck in life and help them come out from major life crises with a sense of fulfilment.

Meet our core team of experts 

Dr. Eilia Jafar
CEO, Devlens


Eilia is a development and humanitarian professional with over 21 years of experience in Governance, Program Design, Strategic Partnerships, Quality and Accountability, Policy, Strategy, research and Organization Development including several international missions in South Asia. She has authored several academic papers on disaster management, business continuity management, quality, accountability, and gender in emergencies. She has worked with CARE, IFRC- South Asia and India Delegations, UNDP, and SaveLIFE Foundation. She is also serving as board member of several organisations. She is ICF certified Life Coach and Executive Coach. Eilia is an alumnus of International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of US State Department.

Deepti Gumber
Sr. Consultant


Deepti completed her M.Sc (Environment Management) in 2003 (awarded Gold Medal) from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, India.  She has more than 15 years of experience with Government, non-government and consulting sectors.  She has worked on assignments with UN agencies, European Commission, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, AFD, GIZ, Government & private sector. Sha has undertaken extensive research and developed program documents (design & feasibility) for several countries in Asia and Africa; conducted site visits for data collection, stakeholder consultations; developed documents including reports, presentations, articles, newsletters; conducted monitoring & evaluation; organized events and meetings for regional/ national/ city-level knowledge sharing.

Er. Vaibhav Mahajan


Vaibhav is a Civil Engineer with around 3 years’ experience of Disaster response assessments, studies, research, Liaison with Government officials in Delhi, UP and Telangana, community assessments, and module development with NIDM and Sphere India. He has led sectoral and emergency response coordination during Delhi Violence, COVID response, Telangana floods and Cyclone Nivar. He was a part of report writing team of JRNA reports for Telangana floods, Cyclone Nivar, and Yaas Cyclone. Vaibhav has also co-authored several training modules and participated in reviews and Evaluations.

Saadia Siddiqui


Saadia has a Master’s degree in Urban planning and around 3 years of professional experience of research, report writing, editing, designing, and publications in International conferences. Saadia was a contributing co-author in Emergency Coordination Handbooks published by Sphere India for 6 sectors, and has experience of designing and conducting research. She brings rich experience of conducting field surveys, stakeholder meetings,  and developing integrated sector action plans and their presentations. Recipient of Pidilite award for excellence in Environmental Design
